Think about the last time you moved. Whether it was from a dorm room to an apartment, apartment to house or house to house, you went through the pain of moving your stuff. With the housing market bouncing back, we’re getting more calls from customers needing help removing items from their homes when they’re in the process of moving to a new home. Here are a few scenarios that our customer’s find themselves calling Rubbish Works for help:
Before the move: Some of our customers call our crew to their home while they’re de-cluttering in preparation for the move. They know that they do not want to take all of their “stuff” with them, and have it hauled away before they would need to pack. Similarly, we have customers that call several weeks in advance, and schedule service for the day of or day after they pack and move their “stuff”, knowing that they will make last minute decisions about what “stuff” to take with them.
During the move: We’ve also taken calls from customers that are in the process of packing and moving when they realize that they do not want to take all of the “stuff” they have. Luckily, we offer same and next day service to accommodate those last minute decisions.
After the move: A few of our customer’s have called us to haul items once they arrive at their new home and begin unpacking. Either they don’t have space for their “stuff” or are getting new “stuff” for their home, they need help hauling.
Here are some kind words one of our customers who recently moved had to say about us:
“We recently moved and used Rubbish Works to get rid of a LOT of things we didn’t need anymore. They were awesome! We actually used them twice. The first time prior to listing our house (we used an Angie’s List big deal) and then again when we moved. They were very responsive, punctual, so professional, and did a great job. I walked around our home and pointed to what I wanted to throw away and they took care of the rest! So easy and so nice to have it all gone so quick. I would definitely use them again.”
