How Does the Dumpster Rental Process Work?
At Rubbish Works Junk Removal, our goal is to make this Dumpster Rental process as simple as possible. Below is a step by step process outlining how the process works. Pay special attention to steps where information is required from our customers.
Step 1: Select Dumpster Options
Select Size
- 20 Cubic Yard for large job
- 12 Cubic Yard for medium job
- On Demand < 10 CY for small job
Weight Allowances
- 3 Tons for 20 Cubic Yard
- 2 Tons for 12 Cubic Yard
- Extra $40/ton above weight
- Maximum total extra weight is 5 Tons

- 3 Day or 7 Day Rentals
- Extra days $30/day
- Specify extra days up front

Step 3: Dumpster Delivery
We Call Ahead
- Our drivers call 15-30 minutes before arrival
- Must be home for delivery
At Dumpster Drop
- Ask questions
- Tell driver where to drop dumpster
- Driver will explain rental contract
- Drops in street can require permit
Payment Collection
- Sign rental contract
- Payment collection
- Receipt provided to customer
Step 4: Load Dumpster
Be Safe
- Load Items from back only
- Latch door open or closed
- Don’t climb on dumpster
Don’t Overload
- Dumpster must be level at the top
- Heavy items like dirt, brick, etc. should be below lower fill line
Restricted Items
- Look through our dumpster ‘What We Take’ page for restrictions
- Restricted items in dumpster can result in customer fines
Step 5: Dumpster Pick Up
Logistics
- No one needs to be home for pick up
- Drivers will not call for pick up

- Overloaded or heavy dumpster
- Blocked driveway

Additional Charges
- Extra days or weight will be charged at pick up
