Our goal is to be a professional, trustworthy company so our focus is to be upfront with our customers on pricing. Customers will be able to see (online) or hear (call center) our prices during the process of renting a dumpster. Our goal is to provide a flat upfront rate without any additional surprise fees.
The cost to rent a roll off dumpster is based on a number of factors, including:
- Dumpster size
- Weight of the debris
- Rental period
For our dumpsters, the customer is in total control of what they pay. You get to select the weight of your rubbish and how long you want to keep the dumpster. Our rates take into consideration your location by using the zip code that you give us at the beginning of the rental process.
The 20 Cubic Yard dumpster has a weight limit that you will see or hear during the rental process. As long as you keep the weight below that threshold, there will not be any additional charges. Many of our customers aren’t familiar with how much items weigh. Feel free to talk to the driver at the time of delivery and they will be able to tell you if you are at risk of going over the threshold limit based on what you are putting in the dumpster. The average weight of our customer’s rentals are generally 40% below the weight limit threshold.
Our rental period varies by location but we normally offer a 3 or 7-day rental period. The customer can choose which of those make the most sense for them. 3-day rentals offer a discount when compared to 7-day rentals. If you want the rental to last longer than 7 days, please mention that at the time of rental. We have a daily rate that will be shared with you to let you know what those costs will be if you go beyond our standard rental period.
We collect payment at the time of drop off. If our customers are to incur any fees for additional days or additional weight, we will contact you before settling the additional chargers.
Customer A has a kitchen remodel project. They think they will need a 20 cubic Yard dumpster for 7 days. The items they are removing will be cabinets, flooring, counter tops and a few miscellaneous household items. Unless they have a large amount of tile, the weight will not reach the max limit of 3 tons with a 20 cubic yard container. In this example, the customer was quoted $350 for a 20 CY container, 3-ton weight limit and 7-day rental. They did not require additional days or weight so their final all-inclusive bill was $350.
Customer B has an outdoor landscape project. They think they will need a 20 cubic Yard dumpster for 7 days. The items being removed will be sod, branches, bushes and some wood. The driver mentions to them at time of drop off that the sod can be heavy and might take them over the 3-ton weight limit. The final weight came in 1 ton above the limit. At the time of rental, the customer was given a price of $350 for a 20 cubic yard container plus $50 per ton above the 3-ton weight limit. In this example, the customer will pay $350 for the rental plus another $50 for being 1 ton above the limit for a total price of $400.
Customer C is doing a bathroom remodel. They think they will need a 20 cubic Yard dumpster but their contractor thinks they might need the dumpster for 10 days. The items they are removing will be cabinets, flooring, bathtub and toilet. Their weight limit will be under the maximum allowed but they do need the dumpster for 3 days beyond the normal 7-day rental period. At the time of rental, the customer was given a price of $350 for a 20 cubic yard container plus $20 per day for each day beyond 7 days. In this example, the customer will pay $350 for the rental plus another $60 for adding three days to the rental period for a total price of $410.
