Rubbish Works is unable to give a firm quote for your job until we are able to see exactly what you want taken away. Upon arrival, our crew will provide you with a firm up-front quote. Our pricing is based on volume and the nature of the items to be loaded into the truck.
Does Rubbish Works Recycle?
Rubbish Works is a committed, eco-friendly recycling company. Up to 50% of the rubbish we remove is recycled on an ongoing basis. We make every effort to responsibly recycle or donate the items we take away. Note: All appliances, TV’s, and computer monitors are environmentally recycled 100% of the time.
Why Are There Surcharges For Some Items?
Some area disposal facilities don’t accept particular items for regular disposal and charge extra for environmental recycling efforts. As a result, a subject surcharge is sometimes added to our regular load charge due to the extra cost to haul, separate and properly recycle items in an eco-friendly way. Common items include: appliances, tires, TV’s, computer monitors, CPU’s and refrigerators.
What Does Rubbish Works Take Away?
Rubbish Works will take away any non-hazardous items that two strong crew members can lift into a truck. Anything from household items such as old furniture, electronics, large boxes, and appliances, to renovation debris and yard waste.
Why Are Pickups Booked in Two-Hour Blocks?
Rubbish Works schedules pick-ups in two hour blocks of time in order to accommodate the travel and labor time needed to load and dispose/recycle between previously completed jobs.
Can We Show Up Even If No One Is On-Site?
We prefer that someone is there on-site when our crew arrives. If no one is on location, the Rubbish Crew will assess the rubbish items and load size (-assuming it is accessible), to determine pricing and will call to confirm a quote over the phone. Upon your approval, we will then begin the job. Upon completion we will call to accept a credit card payment over the phone.
