Betty and Larry Benson

Hello!  We are Betty and Larry Benson, local owner and operators of Rubbish Works in the Portland Metro area. Our territory includes Southern and Western Washington County, parts of Yamhill County, Northeast and Southeast Portland as well as parts of Clackamas and east Multnomah Counties.

Prior to becoming business owners, Betty worked as a senior manager at a top Fortune 500 company and Larry honed his logistics and warehousing skills at various local companies while also coaching boys high school basketball.  We have lived in Western Washington County for the past forty years and have established many strong ties to Oregon communities, schools, businesses and individuals.  We enjoy travelling, golf, theatre, micro-lending and finding “green” efficiencies.

After more than 30 years in the corporate world, we have redirected our knowledge, skills and passion in a way that allows us to personally service the community in an environmentally conscious way.

Clean, lean and green, Rubbish Works provides efficient, on-demand rubbish removal for residential and commercial customers.  Timely service, affordable rates and premier customer service is our top priority.  In addition, this unique service supports Oregon’s “green” initiatives through donation and recycling whenever possible – over 50%+ of all rubbish collected.

Hi, we are Rick and Barbara Kroon, local operators of Rubbish Works of West Portland. Our goal is to be your provider of choice when it comes to removing both commercial and residential rubbish in the Portland Metro area. We serve Portland, Beaverton, Aloha, Lake Oswego, West Linn, Milwaukie, Gladstone and surrounding areas.

Rubbish Works offers a premier service designed to meet your needs. We provide a free, upfront estimate before quickly and efficiently removing your unwanted items which we then recycle and donate whenever possible. Aside from our focus on outstanding customer service, we are committed to the environment, and make all efforts to professionally and responsibly dispose of rubbish.

We utilize Barbara's background as a Health Care professional along with Rick's experience as an Environmental, Health and Safety executive to provide a service representing our focus on customer care along with our passion for the environment. More importantly, along with our three children, we share the same greater Portland community as our customers and thus we intend to provide a service that will add value and benefit to this beautiful area. Our crew members also represent this service oriented focus and we are confident you will feel comfortable having them on your property.
