Hi, my name is Marty Scannell, a Charlotte resident for more than 23 years and the local operator of Rubbish Works of Charlotte.  My goal is simply to be the provider of choice when it comes to removing rubbish in the most professional manner for both commercial and residential customers.  I am committed to hiring teammates who are presently unemployed in this challenging economy and are focused on the needs of our valued customers.

Rubbish Works offers premier service that understands your needs.  We provide free, upfront estimates before quickly and efficiently removing your unwanted items which we then recycle and donate to needy organizations whenever possible.  Aside from excellent customer service, we are focused on doing the right things for the environment and our Charlotte community.

My background is in corporate real estate management with American Express, Bank of America, and Parsons Corporation.  I managed owned and leased office properties for these great companies as well as third party and retail banking center space.  My experience enabled me to work with many superior property managers, real estate project managers, general contractors, architectural and engineering firms, etc.  My significant professional experience has always been focused on exceptional customer service and solid relationship building.

You will find our Rubbish Works teammates to be professional, polite, helpful in meeting customer needs.  They will also be required to be safe drivers as they travel the roads of Charlotte.

The greatest gift you can give us is referring business associates, family, and friends.  It is the single most cost-effective way of letting others experience the difference of how Rubbish Works for them.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family that includes my wife, son, daughter, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter.  I am actively involved in my church and volunteer for many non-profit organizations that specifically help Charlotte families.  I love all sports and root for our local college and professional sports teams.   I just wish there was more time in the day to improve my golf game.
